My name is Cassandra, I am an Australian with a passion for cooking, sharing, and exploring seasonal local produce. I am inspired by memories of my childhood growing up in the hinterland of Byron Bay, my mother’s gift for flavors, travelling and meeting people from all spheres and my beautiful life in France. I have been a vegetarian for the past 22 years and currently live in Paris with my amazing French omnivore boyfriend!!!

I know how challenging it can be for families, couples and friends that share their lives with a vegetarian and I have seen (especially since living in France) how daunting it can be having a vegetarian over for dinner…………

So this is where my blog comes into things, I want to be able to share my recipes that easily cater for both vegetarians and omnivores without having to create two completely separate meals. Both vegetarians, omnivores, and really anyone who is interested in good, nutritious easy to prepare food can follow and I hope enjoy my blog.

Since I have been creating dishes such as these for my boyfriend, family and friends they too have been enriched and discovered (by default) the richness, diversity, tastiness and just how wholesome my meals can be.…………and that’s even before the meat gets added (wink).

I would love to think that my blog may be able to play a part in bridging the gap between vegetarians and omnivores, whilst (in a roundabout way) educating people on the goodness and completeness of vegetarian plant based foods.
